About Blossoming Cooks
Blossoming Cooks provides a range of nature-themed cookery workshops and events for children aged 3+, alongside parents and carers, from the North East of England, using a range of fresh, seasonal ingredients to provide healthy and economical family meals and with an emphasis on different aspects of nature-related science education.
Blossoming Cooks aims to foster an appreciation for the natural world with each session based around a seasonal nature theme. Sessions consist typically of 3 parts – cookery, outdoor nature activity / free play and indoor arts, crafts, story-time and snacks.
Blossoming cooks originated in 2013 as a full-time independent business in Beaconsfield, Bucks, running pre-, home- and after-school classes, plus events at various locations, such as nurseries and libraries. Private parties and school holiday camps also proved popular.
Blossoming Cooks now operates as a brand under True Connection NE CIC providing wholly- and partly-subsidised events in South Tyneside.
